Galerie Linger and Havier la Culm are pleased to invite you to the solo exhibition «Of Men & Knives», on view from May 22 to June 10, 2026, at Galerie Linger (Boppstraße 2, 10967 Berlin).
With the exhibition, we further the programme of presenting work that confronts its own conditions of appearance. Havier la Culm’s new paintings neatly withdraw from explanation, holding open a field in which something is at stake.
Pain is sublimated – and yet, and yet. A sequence of gestures emerges, almost like knife-stabs, testing their own limits and what lies ahead. The work proceeds without resolution; it pursues its own discoveries, going past all fixed ideas – except one, perhaps.
The vernissage: Friday, May 22, at 18:00. We’d be delighted to welcome you to the opening, in a Neukölln milieu where a new artistic intensity is taking shape.
